Description

Serial Com Test tool and help files, see attached.

Serial Com Test tool is used to determine what the serial port of the PLC CPU is currently configured for.

It's a tool that will try to auto detect what the serial port of the controller is set at.

Once the tool auto detects the PLC serial port, you then confirm that the detected settings match what has been setup in Machine Edition target properties. If the settings don't match, then you won't be able to attach to the controller serially.
