Description

Security for a QuickPanel View Runtime (vs Download and Start Enhanced Security access), is configured directly during execution while the View application is running. You must configure security on each individual Runtime machine.

By default, the User List contains two predefined users: Master and fxDefault. Other users may be added to the user list while the system is running.

Resolution

If the Master Password is changed, or the fxDefault permissions are changed or new users added, this changed security information is stored in a file on the QuickPanel. The file is encrypted, so if the user name or password settings are lost, they are not recoverable.

However, the system may be reset back to the default security (logon) settings by deleting this file on the QuickPanel:

\flash storage\fxViewRuntime\Project\local.dll
